Ink Optimizer can be easily applied to any project, screen or digital inkjet.ColorGATE’s profiling engine is at the core of successful color proofing and Ink Optimizer products.
The Ink Optimizer module makes use of specially designed software for screen presses as well as digital inkjet printers to provide a single source solution in order to generate an optimized print without compromising print quality. ColorGATE optimizes the files by applying a predetermined amount of GCR (Grey Component Replacement) to the data. GCR lowers the amount of C, M, Y inks and replaces with K. This is achieved by the application of a customized DLP, (Device Link Profile), applied at the output file generation stage.
