KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Jan 8, 2009) –Despite an overnight snowstorm that dumped another 5”-7” of snow on the Kansas City metro, the Onset S20, the newest model in the high performance Onset series, was delivered today to the Fujifilm Sericol Solutions Center in Kansas City. Two semi-trailers transported the press and crews braved 5 degree temperatures to move the press into place in the state-of-the-art demonstration center that houses a full range of digital wide format solutions. The installation will be completed next week and the press will be ready for customer demonstrations beginning at the end of January.

The S20 is a high speed UV flatbed printer that boasts high quality production speeds of 2690 ft2/hr capable of producing up to 52 full bed sheets (123” x 63” edge to edge) of high quality POP display graphics. The Onset S20 will be installed in the demonstration center next to the higher productivity Onset S70, which remains the fastest UV flatbed printer in the world.

Customer installations of the S20 started in June of last year in Europe, followed by installations in September in the North America. Since then over 25 presses have been installed at customer locations around the world and another 8 presses have been ordered and are scheduled for installation.
