The Sericol Unit of the FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division has an immediate opening for the
position of Field Support Specialist I.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
- New Product/Process Introduction: As FUJIFILM develops or acquires new products and processes to augment its
commercial portfolio, the Field Support Specialist I will work closely with the internal sales & marketing team to
introduce the new product/process to the customer. This can include (but is not limited to): demonstrating the new
product to the customers employees and management staff, providing classroom or hands-on training (or a
combination of both) on the correct use and application of the new product/process, and offering on-going support to
the customer as they work through the introduction of the new product/process to their business.
- Process Consultation: FUJIFILM often partners with our customers to provide production process analysis (known as
a Needs Assessment Evaluation). This process involves a complete, detailed analysis of the entire production
workflow (or of one specific department) with the goal of providing unbiased, clear feedback to the customer,
highlighting the production processes that are working well while identifying other areas that are in need of attention.
The Field Support Specialist I will lead this process, providing consultant style analysis and feedback. The
feedback will include a written document, providing a comprehensive process overview, while outlining a clear plan
and timetable for rectifying the identified areas in need of attention. Follow-up visits are generally required to discuss
the written findings and to schedule time to work alongside the customer to improve the areas in need of attention.

Customer Training: FUJIFILM views ongoing customer education as the key to furthering the partnership between the
company and our customers. New product and refresher training, provided at FUJIFILMs corporate head-quarters
or at the customers facility, is an integral component of this partnership. The Field Support Specialist I will work
with the customer to develop and deliver this customized training, as classroom or hands-on (or a combination of
both) dependent on the customers specific needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS.
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 3 years experience in a commercial print
environment. An Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent professional experience is required. Candidates
must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior organization abilities, and be able to effectively lead
presentations and coaching sessions in order to solve a variety of customer issues. Additionally, the successful candidate
must have experience with computers, a strong knowledge of company software, and a solid orientation to detail. The
individual selected for this position must be available to travel extensively.
