Why Should I Document Procedures?

Perhaps one of the most important elements often overlooked or misused in the production environment is documentation. You should establish systems that track all movements in each department, analyze the information and create targets that will be tracked by your system. If you keep the documentation simple and consistently follow through, you will benefit by reduced down time, procedural control and increased production. Each shop must customize the items they need to document.

The following list will give you a starting point:
* Mesh / Screen Tension
* Emulsion / Stencil
* Ink: Formula / Color Density / Gloss / Modifiers
* Stock
* Squeegee Durometer
* Off Contact and Peel
* Drying Temperature / Cure Rate
