Fujifilm Sericol USA Inc. Introduces the New Xtend GreenLine “One-Step” Product Combination
Kansas City, Kansas – April 25, 2006 – Fujifilm Sericol U.S.A., Inc., a leading global manufacturer of screen, narrow web and digital inks, has introduced the Xtend GreenLine “One-Step” Product Combination – a newly packaged product option for their XID-480 ink degradent.
To effectively clean screens, the previous standard procedure was to apply an ink degradent, let it stand, and then wash it off. Then, follow with an application of a stencil remover, let it stand and then wash that off. Fujifilm Sericol’s Xtend GreenLine “One-Step” Product Combination allows the user to add the stencil remover and water directly into a prepackaged drum already containing their popular XID-480 ink degradent. The user then simply mixes all three products, applies the combination once, and washes it off. The one step product starts to work immediately to break down ink and emulsion and screens are left completely clear.
Once mixed, the product combination is South Coast Air Quality Management District ( SCAQMD) compliant and has a lower V.O.C. per liter than regular ink degradents. The Xtend GreenLine “One-Step” Product Combination results in cost and time savings due to lower material usage and a shorter screen reclaiming process and works effectively on UV, plastisol, and solvent-based inks.
