Packaging Shenstone inaugurates it's Digital studio conversion facilities
The INCA Turbo digital flatbed printer is
the fastest printer of its kind
SHENSTONE, England, 10th June – SCA Packaging Shenstone in
the UK has recently inaugurated its new Digital Print and conversion
facilities that will take them to the next level in point of Sale
and Promotional packaging solutions.
The star of the event was undoubtedly Shenstone’s
new Turbo Digital flatbed printer, which is the world’s fastest
printer of its kind, with a speed of up to 160m ² and a maximum
print area of 3.2 x 1.6 m.
The choice of materials suitable for digital printing is endless,
including of course the full range of fibreboard from carton board
to heavy duty corrugated sheets; EPS, PVC, acrylics and even fabric.
The other addition is the new Digital Cutter, which
automatically registers to print and ensures accurate cutting and
creasing, enabling complex POS constructions such as standees and
header cards, and is also suitable for producing sample runs and
prototypes.
This is the first investment of its kind in SCA Packaging.
The introduction of large format digital print and conversion complements
Shenstone’s already well-equipped business by providing a
cost-efficient, low volume alternative for printing Point of Sale
(POS) displays and promotional packaging.
SCA Packaging Shenstone, located not far from Birmingham,
is part of SCA Packaging UK’s Specialty Products Division.
