When youre exhibiting at a show called
100% Design you need to be 100 percent certain youre going
to attract attention. This London-based contemporary design show
has developed a reputation for being the most exciting and innovative
commercial event for contemporary design/ interiors in Europe.

Cellbond Architectural, an interior design
company, exhibited at the show late last year and wanted to display
their B-Clear Poly product. Cellbond was using the B-Clear Poly
product to create back illuminated walls and light boxes on its
stand for a very contemporary look at their booth.

'Because B-Clear Poly is available in
sizes up to 50mm thick and it is such a rigid substrate there was
no way anything could be roller printed on it,'began Clive Sangster,
group sales manager for Cellbond.

Cellbond needed a versatile, flatbed, inkjet solution and Inca Digitals
new Eagle fit the bill
on all counts. Inca Digital is a Cambridge
U.K.-based manufacturer of digital inkjet applications and the Eagle
is their debut flatbed printer. Cellbonds B-Clear Poly is
an innovative composite panel that is commonly used for floors,
stairways, doors, screening and partitions. Constructed with an
aluminum core sandwiched between polycarbonate, these translucent
panels are available in different honeycomb sizes, in a variety
of colors.

'The effect of the colors streaming through the plastic is very
eye catching and because of the flexibility of being able to print
digitally we could change the design on each panel that was printed.
We were very happy to assist Inca in promoting the Eagle technology
at the show. The proof is in the pudding and the interest we had
from the printed panels at the show was enormous,' Sangster concluded.

No small trick at a show like 100% Design, a
show that typically attracts an audience of up market and design
conscious consumers with superior purchasing power. Over 400 companies
exhibited hundreds of pre-selected products including furniture,
lighting, floor and wall coverings, textiles, kitchen, bathrooms
and architectural products.
